Manufacturing beautiful vinyl records in a single or gatefold sleeve with black or coloured vinyl.

Our aim is to deliver the highest quality vinyl presses to artist in the UK, with minimum hassle and total control over the quality.

By treating each vinyl pressing as a big event we managed to help musicians with their releases in record – 16 weeks – record printing time.

Our vinyl pressing UK facility is based in the United Kingdom and delivers record printing to the UK and Europe.

We offer standard 140g vinyl records as well as 180g and coloured vinyl.

All of our vinyl press comes with a custom packaging (outer sleeve, centre labels, white paper inners).

Vinyl pressing includes test pressing, artwork checks, audio help and UK delivery.

If you’re looking for vinyl records, double album, 12 inch single or 7 inch record we’re here to help.

Vinyl pressing turnaround times change every week so please get in touch for the latest waiting times. We try to get each vinyl record out as quickly as possible but some delays may occur.

How to order your vinyl record pressing?

Pick the vinyl pressing you’d like and send us a message along with the artwork and audio ready for mastering unless you decide to master your audio on your end then just send us pressing ready masters. Once we check audio and artwork files you have provided us with you’ll get digital proofs for all printed parts.

Once the vinyl artwork proofs are approved by you we’ll start the vinyl pressing process.

What's the minimum quantity for the vinyl press?

The minimum quantity of vinyl pressing is 100 units. Since the setting up costs are high and very labor intensive, 100 units is the minimal number for us to start vinyl production.

How long does it take to print vinyl?

Print Vinyl order is pressed within 9 months (standard lead time) from the moment you approve all the artwork proofs. However, we do offer express turnaround (16 weeks). Please send us a message to check availability.

What is a test press vinyl?

Test press vinyl is a proof of your final record. We’re using the same technique and technology to manufacture test presses as we do for the actual vinyl records. By testing your test pressings you’ll be able to examine your audio before we start the vinyl pressing process.

Remember, vinyl test pressings are only used to catch any possible defects introduced during the plating process. You should listen for things like skips, pops, locked grooves that cause repeats or excessive distortion.

Is a test pressing necessary?

In order to make you happy with your vinyl pressing we send you test pressings so you can review the visual- and audio quality of Audio Unity Group pressings. After the test pressing is approved, we can start with vinyl production.

What is the difference between 140 and 180 gram records?

180g vinyl records are of a higher quality, are less likely to bend and will last longer than a 140g vinyl pressings. Besides that, 180g records feel better, more expensive. However, the sound quality is the same and does not change based on disc weight.

How many minutes of music on a 12 inch vinyl?

We recommend not going over 22 minutes per side. The maximum is 24 minutes.

Please note that the longer your vinyl record is the lower the volume and quality of your record will be. This is due to the fact that the grooves need to be shallower and closer together if there is more music on the record. Each vinyl order included free mastering for vinyl to make sure your vinyl pressing sounds best possible

Can I order only wax without the sleeves?

If you want only the vinyl pressing without any sleeves just let us know. We’ll give you an accurate quote minus the sleeves.

Is it possible to include an insert with the vinyl order?

Absolutely. We can print any type of insert, booklet, poster etc and integrate with your vinyl pressing. Whatever you want as long it fits inside the sleeve. Common thing to do is to include a printed inner sleeve (instead of white disco bag) where you can put a lot of information about the artist, label, tracks and more.

Vinyl pressing

Can you press double vinyl?

Our vinyl pressing UK offers a double 12 inch album option where in a gatefold sleeve we can host two vinyl discs. This is a more expensive option due to the quantity and it’s not recommended to do in low quantities.

How much does it cost to post vinyl UK?

Our vinyl pressing UK service offers free delivery to the UK mainland for all of our vinyl production options
